Games like peek-a-boo teach socialization. At first your baby may not interact, but soon she will start mimicking you. This is your baby’s first sings of socializing. Even if it is with you at first, eventually your child will know that she can do this with others outside of the home.
Babies also love to watch older children. Understandably, they are having a lot more fun and appear exciting to a baby. Let your infant observe older children from a distance. He or she may not be able to interact yet, but your baby will get to watch important play.
Stimulating your baby’s brain through simply play is vital to her proper development. Interacting and socializing with your child will create a trust that eventually will play a huge part of her life!
