What is a VBAC?

Quite often, if you are a candidate for a VBAC, your doctor will recommend a labor trial.  This means that you’ll be allowed to labor naturally and the doctor will very closely watch you during this time; if labor is progressing normally and there is no threat to your baby, you’ll be allowed to continue.  As always, if the doctor has any concerns about you or your baby’s health, they will not allow you to have a VBAC and will instead recommend an immediate repeat C-section.
