Warning: How to Find the Latest Nursery/Baby Equipment Recalls

Consumers who find baby furniture or equipment in their home that is part of a recall should stop using the item immediately and contact the manufacturer of the product. When shopping for baby furniture or other baby equipment, it is important to check the recall status of the item. This is especially important to do if it is being purchased at a consignment shop or flea market. Consumers should locate the manufacturer name and model number marked on the item, they can then contact the CPSC to determine if the item has been recalled or not. Individuals who believe an item is unsafe or those who need to report an injury related to a specific product should contact the CPSC by emailing them at hazard@cpsc.gov.
