The new mom has deep ties to the Palin family – she lived with Bristol while in Anchorage, and worked as an executive secretary in the governor’s office when Sarah Palin was governor of Alaska, the Los Angeles Times reports. The former Britta Hanson grew up in Wasilla alongside the Palins. The daughter of a local minister graduated from Wasilla High School in 2007 and now is studying to be a nurse at the University of Alaska. Her husband, Track, is an Army Reservist who also plans to attend the university when the commercial fishing season ends.
