“Had the blessing of becoming a father over the weekend… Couldn’t come
close to describing this bliss even if I had 140 million characters,” he wrote
on the social media site.
The couple was married in summer 2010 after Van Der Beek finalized his
divorce from his first wife of six years in March. Van Der Beek is famous for
his role as Dawson in Dawson’s Creek, the TV show that ran from 1998 to 2003 with other stars including Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams and Joshua Jackson.
