Holiday Road Trip: Why Snacking is Important

Avoid this scenario by packing healthy snacks before your leave. There are a wide variety of healthy snacks that can safely be transported by car and eaten easily even if you’re doing the driving.

We recommend celery and peanut butter for even the most sensitive stomachs. Cheap, easy to put together and healthy- you can’t beat it. There’s also almost no chance of it becoming a mess in the car.

Other options for safe and easy-to-eat car foods: trail mix (avoid the kind with candy in it), apples, bananas, cheese, crackers and single-serve applesauce containers.
