Actress Delivered Her Son Naturally
When actress Evangeline Lilly delivered her son naturally at home last year,
she set an example for proponents of natural births.
The former Lost actress recently explained on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that she and her partner, Norman Kali, decided to skip the hospital altogether and have a natural birth, People Magazine reports.
After five hours of labor, she said her midwife stepped in and gave her tips
that saved the day, the news source reports.
Whether dependent on midwife, partner or other support system while
delivering, there are many techniques women can use to aid natural birth,
according to the American Pregnancy Association.
