Soft Books
It is never too early to introduce your newborn to books. Babies see bright, contrasting colors the best. By letting them touch and feel a soft book they are developing their ability to recognize textures. The bright colors will stimulate her and encourage her to look at them. Even though she won’t know what the objects are, she’ll love looking at them.
Buying toys for the new baby can be great fun; just be careful that the toys that you buy are specifically made for babies. That way they won’t have any dangerous small or removable parts. The toys that you buy for the baby now will entertain her not only for the next few months but for a few years.
