A Healthy Balanced Diet
In addition to taking prenatal vitamins, you need to eat a healthy and balanced diet. Research has linked food and fertility together. A poor diet can make it harder for you to conceive. So, if you’re serious about conceiving, make sure that you take prenatal vitamins (with plenty of folic acid) and eat a balanced diet that follows MyPlate’s five food groups (fruits, vegetables, grains, protein, and dairy).
