The No Nonsense Guide to Surviving the Last Few Weeks of Pregnancy

Walk
Unless your doctor advises against it, walking can be a great way to pass the time while waiting for the baby. Not only is it a great form of low-impact exercise, but also it is good to help relieve tension, stress and anxiety. Get out for a little while and enjoy a nice walk, just be careful not to push yourself too hard.

Eat Properly
Proper nutrition is always important during pregnancy but especially so in the last few months when heartburn can cause problems. Eat smaller, fewer meals that are filled with whole grains, fruits, vegetables and lean proteins. Don’t forget that you are not eating for two; eating healthy for one is all your baby needs.

The last few weeks of pregnancy can seem to drag on and on. As the anticipation builds its easy to get stressed and anxious. Hopefully these tips will help you stay rested and calm as you wait for the arrival of your new baby.
