Don’t forget the most important item to add to your list and that is you. Your baby needs you to be healthy and present in order to feel secure in a world that may appear to be strange, ever changing and perhaps a little bit scary. Don’t forget to pack the coming home outfit. This outfit should be something that is comfortable, easy to change the baby into and out of and celebrates the special event that the end of pregnancy brings. Those final baby preparations can include some happy anticipatory times where the parents-to-be experience what it is like to give their baby security and comfort for the first of many times to come.
