The Great Reveal
Most women have their first ultrasound between 18 and 22 weeks. By this time the baby’s genitals are fully developed and the ultrasound technician can usually determine the sex of your baby. Make sure you let them know beforehand if you do NOT want to know the sex.
The second trimester is usually the most exciting for women. Monumental changes are taking place for both the mother and the baby, and seeing your baby for the first time on the ultrasound is a moment you’ll never forget.
