When actor Robert Downey Jr. was discussing his wife's pregnancy with Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show," he couldn't contain his excitement over his baby news and let one previously-unknown detail slip – "We're having a boy!" he exclaimed.
The A-lister and his wife, Susan Levin, had previously announced that they were expecting, but Downey told Leno that he was not supposed to disclose the new arrival's gender, USA Today reports.
"I am not permitted to discuss it. I keep dropping the ball everywhere – [Susan] says, 'Don't tell your cousins', and then I tell them. I can't say a word," he told the talk show host, before blurting out the gender news.
He then covered his face in what ContactMusic.com calls "fake shame."
