Helen Grace De Niro weighed in at 7.2 lbs, and is the second child for the couple, according to People Magazine. In addition to joining brother Elliot, Helen also has a number of step siblings.
The news provider reports that the famed actor has four other children, including Drena, 40, Raphael, 35 and 16-year-old twins Julian and Aaron. Drena and Raphael are from De Niro's first marriage to Diahnne Abbott, while Julian and Aaron were born via surrogate while the actor was in a relationship with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith.
Despite the fact that De Niro may have surprised Hollywood with the news of his new daughter, he is certainly not the only actor to use surrogacy. According to ABC News, a number of high powered celebrity couples have been public about using a surrogate, including Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, and Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker.
