It is common for new moms to experience sudden hormonal changes, which may lead to feelings of anxiety, sadness or depression. Don’t be afraid to let your child’s pediatrician know if you have been feeling this way. Most times, pediatricians can recommend a support group or therapist that you can call for advice. While it is essential that your newborn receives routine health care, it is also important that you take care of yourself.
