4) Stick with sneakers ““ I think this is especially important for babies that are walking and climbing. Sandals and flip flops can come off at the worst time or cause babies to fall. If you’re at a playground with mulch, sneakers are also smarter so no mulch gets into those little shoes.
5) Beat the heat ““ Although newer playgrounds are mostly plastic, they can still get pretty hot on sunny days. Make sure you test out the temperature of anything your baby will be playing on with your own hands first.
Once you get used to it, playground safety for babies will become second nature and you will have hundreds of enjoyable playground trips in your future.
