While breastfeeding is often a painful experience, putting together a bottle
doesn’t hurt at all and is a good choice for women who have medical restrictions
or dietary preferences that make them choose bottle-feeding methods. Formula
feeding allows more family members and friends to participate in feeding a baby
(since mother, father or caretaker can make a bottle of formula milk) and is
often more filling for the baby, who may require fewer feedings than he would if
breastfed.
