An ophthalmologist will look to see if your child’s eyes are moving properly. Constant movement without focusing or a wandering eye can be important to mention at the eye exam. Another condition called amblyopia will be looked for by the doctor. This is a lazy eye that can often go unnoticed by parents or caregivers. Sometimes a lazy eye is subtle, but if left untreated could lead to further vision problems.
