Now, aside from what you’ll wear during actual labor, there’s utterly no reason you can’t pack your own cute PJs and such for the rest of your hospital stay. Just keep in mind, ease of nursing if you plan to breastfeed and the fact that should you have a vaginal birth, you’ll likely be wearing a somewhat bulky pad afterwards. I suggest you pack a cute little bathrobe too. Plus warm socks (have fun with this, and consider cool over-the-knee styles) and/or a pair of ultra-femme, yet cozy slippers. Don’t forget a couple pairs of full-coverage panties too, not the sexiest, but again, if you go with a print you love, they won’t be as bad.
