It's a girl for "Felicity" star Keri Russell, who was able to keep the birth of her first daughter a secret for a few days. Willa Lou Deary was welcomed into the world December 27, but Russell waited more than a week before announcing the happy news.
The actress's rep told People Magazine that the family is "happy and healthy." This is the second child for Russell and husband Shane Deary, who also have a son River, 4 1/2.
There have been no reports on how the birthing process went for Russell the second time around, but hopefully it was easier than her experience with her first child. The news provider reports the actress was in labor for 38 hours with River.
Russell works to make sure that she is able to spend time with her children while still providing for them, noting that she likes to do her own thing at times.
"I like getting to be in the adult world a little bit and then getting to be in the mom world and cook dinners. And, for me, that balance is what makes it nice," she said in an interview in 2010.
According to the Washington Post, Russell can next be seen in the movies "Goats" and "Austenland."
