A Look at Infant Development During the First Trimester

Third month

During the final weeks of the first trimester, you will be able to identify the baby’s gender (or you can choose to keep it a surprise!) and the initial embryo will reach the fetus period.

During the next six months the fetus will continue to stabilize and grow. You’ll soon be holding a newborn in your arms!
