Understanding your signs of ovulation is the key to getting pregnant.
Every woman’s cycle is different, but ovulation – the release of a mature egg from the ovary – usually occurs between day 11 and day 14. Once the egg is released from the ovary it is only viable for about 24 hours. It must encounter a sperm cell during that critical window for pregnancy to occur. If not, the egg will simply be shed, along with the uterine lining, as the woman’s menstrual period.
