These early symptoms of pregnancy are often telltale signs of pregnancy to women who have been pregnant before especially if they have been pregnant multiple times. You often hear older women telling a younger woman that she is pregnant because she has been seen rushing to the bathroom to vomit, or turns her nose up when she smells chicken or fish.
The cause of these first symptoms of pregnancy can be traced to the hormones that fluctuate throughout a pregnant woman’s body. These hormones are preparing her body for the task of growing a human being. Hormonal changes are the most dramatic in a woman’s body during the first trimester (first twelve weeks) of pregnancy. A urine or blood pregnancy test is used to confirm what most women swear they already know based upon symptoms, that a baby has started to be nurtured within the confines of their womb.
