Although Elizabeth Banks is gearing up to star in one of the most anticipated movies of the year, "The Hunger Games," it seems the role she's most concerned with is being a mom to her 10-month-old baby.
The actress sat down with Lucky Magazine to discuss her love of fashion, but the tone of affection quickly shifted to her son, Felix.
"That's my little dude," Banks, 37, said in the interview, as she showed off a picture of her son on her phone. "I hate being away from him for even 10 seconds."
In terms of her career, Banks is looking to get behind the camera a bit more, rather than in front of it. She also talked about her death-defying plans for the future with her son.
"My plan is that when Felix is 15, we'll go skydiving together," she said. "I mean, the guy is fierce and fearless, and I'm hoping he stays that way. Because I want to be that mom."
People Magazine reports that Banks and her husband Max Handleman welcomed their son last March through a surrogate.
