“It was important to me that I gave myself time to focus on becoming the woman I want to be, building my empire, my relationship, and my self-worth, before I became a mother,” she told the publication, People Magazine reports.
After taking a year off in 2010 during which she spent time by herself in
China and other locations, she separated on a business level from her father, who had managed her empire since she began in the music business. Now, president of her own publicity with her own team, Beyonce released her most personal album yet.
