Adding to the number of strollers that grace the "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" set, Charlie Day announced that he and his wife Mary Elizabeth Ellis are the proud parents of a baby boy.
E! News reports that the couple that stars on the cult-favorite FX show as Charlie and the Waitress, respectively, named their son Russell Wallace Day. According to the news provider, Russell was the name of a deceased friend of Ellis', while Wallace is a name from Day's side of the family.
In a statement to the media, the couple said that they are "overjoyed and overwhelmed at the amount of love that ushered our baby into the world."
Day and Ellis, who have been married since 2006, aren't the only cast members to have a new baby. Costars Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson are parents to 1-year-old son Axel and expecting another baby, while Glenn Howerton welcomed a son, Miles, this past September.
Howerton recently told Us Weekly that he and his wife put less planning into coming up with a name for their newborn son.
"My wife and I thought it would be a good idea to wait to see the baby first before we actually decided what his name would be. That wasn't a good idea," he said in an interview.
