Addicted to Stress: Switch Gears
When a person finds themselves in stressful circumstances, certain hormones make a person feel restless, agitated and shaky, which can result in being addicted to stress. Excercise, such as running, is a good way to relieve the over-energized effect.
Some might find comfort in talking to a friend about a topic unrelated to the stress, while others may find peace by reading a book or playing with a pet.
The idea is to simply switch to another channel for a short time.
